Grayling, MI — December 3, 2025
The Community Christian College Women's Basketball team continued their early-season road stretch on Wednesday night, battling but ultimately falling to Kirtland Community College, 67–34.
DC3 struggled to find consistent offense throughout the night, scoring eight points in each of the first three quarters before putting up 10 in the fourth. Despite the effort on the defensive end, Kirtland steadily pulled away behind strong rebounding and a deep scoring rotation that saw ten players contribute.
Rylee Mott led the Lady Lions with 12 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists, carrying much of the offensive load while logging 37 minutes. Alvion Williams added 9 points and knocked down one of DC3's two three-pointers in the game. Tices Spicer battled on the glass, finishing with 8 points and a team-high 9 rebounds, while Shunyah Howard chipped in 3 points and 5 rebounds.
Despite the loss, DC3 showed flashes defensively, forcing 16 Kirtland turnovers and getting seven steals, including two each from Mott and Miarah Freeman.
The Lady Lions (0–5) continue their search for their first win of the season and look to regroup as they return to action at home against Alpena Community College, Saturday, December 6th, 1pm tip off at Center Line Prep.
