MBB Tripped Up at Central CC-Columbus

COLUMBUS, NE -- The Community Christian College Men's Basketball team slipped at Central Community College-Columbus on Wednesday, falling 91-73. The Raiders outshot the Lions from the free throw line and out-assisted them, building a large enough lead to give them the head for the entirety of the 2nd half.

Community Christian dropped to 13-10 overall.

CCC-C led by 6 at halftime, but Community Christian only whittled the deficit to as small as four early in the 2nd half.

With 20 points, DaiQuan Coach was one of three players in double figures for Community Christian. Terrence Partridge and Derald Blackmon added 14 each.

With five regular season games to play, Community Christian no longer qualifies for postseason play. They only need 2 more wins to tie their program high in wins, and 3 to break it.

Community Christian travels to Terra State CC on Monday. The game has been scheduled for a 6 p.m. start.
