Men's Basketball Wins Big at Lorain County

ELYRIA - The Community Christian College Men's basketball team had two players in double figures, including a 43-point double-double by DaiQuan Coach, en route to a 99-94 victory over Lorain County CC on Thursday. DC3 has now won their last 3 after losing the opener.

Community Christian improves to 3-1 overall, while the Commodores fall to 0-5.

It was neck and neck throughout the first 10 minutes, but a 12-0 run fueled by threes from Terrence Partridge and Coach brought the lead to 11. DC3 would lead for the rest of the game.

Coach scored 15 points in 5 minutes at the end of the first half to extend the lead to 16.

Almost everyone got playing time in the 2nd half, but it was the DaiQuan Coach show as he put up another 12 to reach 43 points in the largest amount of points scored in Community Christian College's history.

DC3 will look to ride this winning streak into Alpena CC, where they will play as the 2nd half of a doubleheader on Saturday.
