LORAIN, OH -- The Community Christian College Baseball team split a doubleheader at Lorain County to win their first game of the season. The Lions won the opener, 9-8, then lost the nightcap, 17-8.
Community Christian improves to 1-14.
Mike Woods and Justin Banwaree tied for the lead in RBIs with 4 each, the latter scoring all 4 runners in during the second game. Banwaree also hit 2 home runs, the first two of the season for CCC.
The Lions return to action this Wednesday, when they make the short trip to Washtenaw CC. First pitch for a 9-inning game is at 5 p.m.
