CENTREVILLE -- The Community Christian College Baseball team fell in both games against Glen Oaks Community College by a combined score of 24-7 on Sunday. The Lions had three multi-run innings, but they fell behind early in both games against the Vikings.
Joe Downer led the day in hits, with 3 of the team's 10 belonging to him. He also accumulated 3 RBIs in the 2nd game.
Justin Banwarree and Vincent Cain both hit twice and scored in the 2nd game.
Community Christian returns to the diamond on Tuesday, where they'll square off against Owens Community College on the road for two games. First pitch is slated for 1 pm.
